FAQ

Help Center & FAQ

Transparent answers about our secure escrow protections, production workflows, and international shipping setups.

1. Trust & Payment Protection

How do I know my money is safe after making a payment?

Your investment is fully protected. We use secure escrow accounts for our contracts, meaning your funds are held safely by a neutral third party. The payment is only released to us once the project terms are met, ensuring complete peace of mind.

What is an escrow contract, and how does it protect my funds?

An escrow contract is a legal arrangement where a trusted, neutral third-party platform holds your payment securely while your project is being manufactured. It protects you because we cannot access the funds until we have fully fulfilled our production obligations and shipped your order, eliminating the risk of upfront financial loss.

When is the money released from the escrow account to you?

The funds are only released to us once the pre-agreed contract milestones are met—typically after your print run has been successfully produced, quality-checked, and shipped out with verified tracking data confirming it is en route to your destination.

Can I get a formal invoice and contract before transferring funds?

Yes. We provide a comprehensive, transparent invoice and a clear service contract detailing your print specifications and escrow terms before any financial transaction takes place.

2. Production, Quality & Proofing

Can I see what my book will look like before full production?

Absolutely. To guarantee you are completely satisfied with the quality, we print and send you a physical sample of your book for final approval before mass production begins. Please note that while the proofing service is part of our process, clients are responsible for the shipping fees to deliver the sample.

Do you check my design layout to ensure nothing gets cut off?

Yes, we can perform a detailed layout and alignment check to ensure your text and images sit perfectly within the margins and bleed lines. If you would like our team to review your layout or make structural adjustments, this service is available for a small additional fee.

Can you design my artwork or edit my book content for me?

Yes, we offer professional graphic design and text editing services if your files aren’t print-ready. Because these require dedicated design work, they are treated as separate add-ons and carry an independent fee that is not included in the standard printing cost.

3. File Submission & Specifications

What file formats do you accept for booklet printing?

For the cover artwork, we accept high-resolution PDF or PNG formats to ensure crisp, vibrant print quality. For the interior pages of the book, files must be submitted in standard PDF format.

What standard trim sizes do you offer for booklets?

We offer a variety of standard international dimensions, with A4 and A5 sizes being our most popular options for booklets and catalogs. We can also accommodate custom trim dimensions depending on your specific layout requirements—just let us know what you need.

Why must my page count be in multiples of 4 for saddle-stitched books?

Saddle-stitching is created by folding large sheets of paper in half and stapling them along the spine. Because each folded sheet naturally creates 4 individual pages (front and back of both halves), any booklet using this binding method must have a total page count that is divisible by 4 to avoid blank, unprinted pages at the back.

What is the difference between 70# Uncoated plain paper and glossy stock?

70# Uncoated paper has a smooth, non-glare, natural texture that is perfect for easy reading and writing (ideal for workbooks, manuals, and text-heavy interiors). Glossy stock, on the other hand, features a reflective coating that makes colors pop with high-contrast vibrancy, making it the preferred choice for photo-heavy covers, catalogs, and commercial programs.

Can I choose a different paper stock for the outside cover than the interior pages?

Yes, this is highly recommended. Most clients opt for a thicker, heavier cover stock (such as a glossy or matte coated cardstock) to protect the booklet and give it a premium feel, while keeping the interior pages on a lighter text-weight paper for easy flipping and cost efficiency.

4. Timelines, Shipping & Adjustments

How long does the printing and delivery process take?

Printing typically takes between 3 to 10 business days, while international door-to-door shipping generally averages 10 to 15 working days. Please keep in mind that exceptionally large, voluminous orders may require additional time for both manufacturing and transit.

If you are editing my book, does that change the delivery timeline?

Yes. Book editing/design timelines and actual press printing timelines are entirely separate. The estimated printing time only begins once your book interior and cover artwork are fully finalized, approved, and cleared for the press.

Will I receive a tracking number to monitor my shipment’s progress?

Yes. As soon as your order clears our quality control inspection and is handed over to our international freight partners, we will generate and email you a secure tracking number so you can monitor its journey door-to-door.

If I need to change my order quantity after submitting, is it too late?

It depends entirely on where your project is in the timeline. If your order is still in the layout proofing or file verification stage, we can easily adjust your batch quantity. However, once you have approved the physical proof and the job is sent to the physical plates and printing presses, the order volume cannot be altered.

5. Bindings, Quantities & Bulk Discounts

What binding options do you offer?

While we specialize heavily in saddle-stitched booklets, we also provide professional spiral binding and perfect binding solutions. If you need a binding style other than saddle-stitch, please contact us directly for custom pricing details.

Can I place an order for fewer than 200 copies?

Technically, our standard minimum order volume starts at 200 copies to keep production cost-effective. However, we know every project is unique—reach out to us directly with your specific needs, and we will see how we can accommodate you based on your circumstances.

Do you offer special discounts for massive print runs?

Yes. If you are looking to print an extremely large bulk volume exceeding 10,000 copies, please contact us directly so we can reach an agreement on an exclusive, deeply discounted high-volume rate tailored to your budget.
